mine is the camargue??..i do have a scope with mine too bud..its a tasco AG4 x 40 WA ....is that any good???

 

If the working parts look like that then yes, it's the Camargue.

 

The Tasco AG are specifically designed for airguns. It's certainly good enough for most things you'll want to do with the airgun.

Sounds like a Camargue to me. :hmm:

 

If you can stand postage to Leeds and you pay for the parts, I'll fix it FOC for you. That's if it can be fixed!! :laugh:

Andy..thats such a generous offer,im sure i could cough up for postage and parts,are parts generally expensive??,,i guess thats a daft question really as you wont know til you see the gun,hahah.

I'll strip the gun down first to find out what's gone wrong with it, then we'll know what parts it needs. Parts for those older AA's are still easy enough to get hold of, as per Tony's link. :thumbs:

i would just like to say a massive thankyou to you guys..cant believe the responses on here...i have gone from having a broken gun with no prospects to an amazing offer of free repair and the advice recieved has been awesome.i am very grateful and hope i can return the favour one day...my rifle will be winging its way up north in the next couple of days and with any luck it aint fooked beyond repair..thanks to phantom and andy for you huge generosity... :notworthy:

theres a kasmin to and a bora . verey good advice not to dry fire ,or as i did when young fired with brocken barel i got a very good black eye and never did it again :icon_redface:
