I do wonder though why the owner dodnt have better hold of the dog if its lead was still attached to it? Anyhow, I hope the dog makes a full recovery. Quote Link to post

"it aint the cats fault dont you include cats when stock breaking?" oops my bad! i crossed the road with both dogs on leads when crossed i was getting over a fence to get in a field i was passing the lead through the fence when the dog scented the cat in the bottom of the hedge unseen by me thats how the dog got after the cat and my dogs are stock trained ive had running dogs and terriers for twenty odd years and this was just one of those things so before jumping the gun get your facts right all i was asking for was a bit info or advice that would aid my dogs recovery off people this had happened to and to all the people that have pm me thanks alot evrything took on board and greatly appreciated atb biza Quote Link to post

craigyboy 1,274 Posted September 11, 2010 Report Share Posted September 11, 2010 keep your chin up mate,i had a bullx break her back leg,it was late at night so i took her to the only vet that would bother getting out of bed,he fixed her up,charged me a fortune and the next day he said he thinks she may need pins,im not vets biggest fan,so i took her to the pdsa to see what they thought,and low and behold they said that pins are not required and the vet couldnt think why anyone would say that she did vets are greedy b*****ds,thats why and her leg break never hindered her once,i had my heart in my mouth a few nights while lamping but it just didnt bother again,so be positive mate Quote Link to post
