robbo 879
i went driving round on monday looking for new permission [got one new farm ]then today when i got home from work there was a letter from north yorkshire police waiting for me. this stated that as my vehicle has in the past been involved in the poaching of game they are writing to inform me of the legislation regarding poaching so that i am aware of how they will deal with any offences. it then goes on to explain what they can seize etc. etc. this would be bad enough if i had ever been done for poaching anywhere but as i havent its doubly annoying. i can only presume that this is because last year i was interviewed on suspicion of interfering with a badger sett. because someone saw us in a field[ where we had permission] with dogs and a spade and said we were badger digging.no charges were ever brought and i thought that was the end of it.they have obviously retained all this on their system and are using it . does anybody know if they can retain this information if no offences have been committed. if their going to track me every time i go rabbiting they are going to be really busy between september and march. just shows you that you cant go anywhere without them watching. Richie10 345
This doesnt happen to real criminals. Easy touch, accuse someone wrongly and then threaten them while doing something legal. It's called bullying They will probably put towards their crimes solved statistics.
