diy custon stock

Got a nice piece of ash timber and started to go to work on making my own custom stock. Timber = 26x7x3inchs , drawm design on card, cut out and templated on timber, sawing and chisiling away, will keep you all updated via these means on how its coming along, will try upload photos along the way.

Great stuff, sharp tools and little bits at a time as you get near to finished, measure twice cut once, enjoy mate.

Personally I havent got the patience, I did try to make a stock about 15 years ago, lets say woodwork just aint my best subject :)

good pic mate now just chop a bit more off then take another photo and put it up :yes:

 

how much did that ash cost?

 

Cost £20, will show more tomorow. Hard graft when its all done by hand,,,think its goin to take longer than I thought.

It will take ages mate, just take your time with it and make sure you dont mess it up in the final stages lol.

Im sure it will look great once its finished :thumbs:
