stalking down near oxford

two days stalking in oxfordshire, the place was teamimg with deer, the picture was taken with a 35mm camera and then i took a pic with my digi a pic of a pic if you know what i mean, shooting those crazy muntjac was fantastic i wish we had some up here, ended up with four muntjack five roe and two fallow not bad for two days, the woods were huge all the shooting was done from high seats wich was nice for a change a really good time good food and a greay bunch of guys rgds remmy. :D:D

look at the top right hand side of the pic.....it lookd like a stags head !!! :blink:

Good shooting .. :good: .but it's a crying shame to knack all of them if you dont have a use for them .. ie .. for personal use or for the local game dealer.. :hmm: ..

Millet

hi millet theres no shame mate, all the deer that we didnt take went to the game dealer mate, these deer were shot from several different woods there are alot of deer in that area we were stalking , so shame dont come into millet, we were there to shoot them, the deer were getting culled from variouse plantations, they have an number of deer to cull off it every year if the deer arnt getting shot they would get other stalkers to

do it, we have two fantastic days millet, the crack was good and the guys down there were great blokes could not falt it recommend it go and have a go millet rgds remmy. ;)

When you go to hereford you wont get such variety :no:

yes apollo your right, its the change of scenery i am going for mate the stalking and fallow deer are a bonus,its real nice to stalk deer on other peoples ground, thats what its all about, who cares if you dont shoot any its been out there that counts, in what weather they throw at us i will be there, rgds remmy. :)

good shooting i live just south of oxford. the keepers on the estate where i live shoot 97 muntys last month and you would never know any had been culled. the muntys round here are knowed as rats just because of the sheer amount of them

there was two of us went down , we brought some munties back, there great eating if they were only up here

looking forward to the next trip down to hereford this time. rgds remmy. ;)
