lol i just call them dogs but i allways thought the rough coats were classed more as a fell.. just my opinion.. jon

If there was a litter of 6 black pups 3 turned out smooth would they be patts ??

Another thing that gets on my nerves is when your asked to put chocs in the cross bred classes at terrier shows, it's just a coulor they belong in the black class. I don't show dogs but i have seen people asked to remove chocs as they don't belong in a black class..:wallbash:

Nah busterdog - came across it here - "pure bred nuttall from the old lines, i have all the breeding on paper bred thru miner, copper"

 

HAven't seen many chocs here in Ireland ... don't think I see any at the last show in West Meath either

there wasnt any chocs there, i bought a smooth choc patt bitch pup last year at ballinasloe, not badly priced at 140euro, nice looker.

but she failed to make the grade as a worker so i resold her to a pet home in spring for the same money.

havent seen any since then though lol. my rough coated patt dog has a choc undercoat but it just makes his look like a dirty/dull black lol.
