got the new mark3,came with magnet key fob,its very loud gonna put tape over speaker seems ok,wanted bellman and flint but coudnt afford that much,maybe next time,deben seems solid enough,suppose you wont bury tha orange box lol,paid £177 in gun shop?seemed high?but told me it was latest with new improved collar and magnetic key fob,cheers

You can turn the volume off on the dial, but it will come back on again when you get down to the last foot or so.

And £177 is cheap mate, they are usually around £190

well lads, i've used the deben long range for most of last season no problem at all with it only fault i could find is it some times read 5ft where it was actually closer to 3 ft. but was spot on over dog each time. took a while to get used to it but once i got the hang no problem, y.i.s, sionnach

stik some strong tape over the speaker it will fade it out and make things alot quieter for you mate
