rubber car mats lino etc waste of time been that soldier myself fitted them on all my pop out holes a while back lasted a grand total of one day ripped and chewed to bits a bit of perspex hinged right in middle of the pop out hole is worth a try as its hard too chew plus when is in position its tight against the block work so there s no exposed edge for them too chew worth a try.

if there chewing your rubber mats put some mustard on it wont be long stoping them the oldest trick in the book.

Hi, Biglee1. I use large diameter fire hose that's failed the yearly testing. I cut it up and hang it like mighty celt does his floor mats. They last for years. Check the local fire department and see if they have any scraps pieces laying around.

Beware. they may want to give you a hundred feet or so.
