whippet height

hi all i was just wondering what sort of age a whippet reaches its full height as mine seems to have slowed down its growth rate at 5 months now, any info greatly appreciated

What height is it? Pegandgun on here has got one thats just 12" tts @ 7months old.I have never seen a whippet so small in my life it looks more like an Italian greyhound.Ill try and get a pic of it later and post it up.atb MH

i have a beddy whip shot up over first 5months to 14-15"then slowed down some of the lads i hunt with think he will still grow a bit more as his front nuckles have a bit in them? i dont know its my first running dog hes 18tts at the moment hope he will do some more but we will see 7 1/2 months now.

if you measure your pup at 16 weeks and it is 16 inches or less it normally makes the 20 inch coursing height

at the moment she is 17.5 inch at the shoulder and five months old if that helps with any estimation?

I have a 9 month 3/4 whippet 1/4 collie that is 21 tts, at 4 1/2 calendar months he was 17 tts and 5 1/2 months he was just under 19 tts. Hope this helps.

thanks for the help, hope he makes the 20 tts mark, what age do you think i shud let him have a run on a rabbit? they is lodz of little once i just dont no wether to let him have a run, he is keen as mustard

I have beddy/whippet bitch at 4 months old my first lurcher an was abit worried bout her been small an thin at her bk legs an back! She's never had any puppy fat on her jus wunderd if normal as I have now experence with them.

Lash the food into her, 4 - 7 months are very important for growth in a pup, if their underweight during this period , they may not reach their full potential,,

looks a cracking little bitch hope it makes what you want, none of my bitches made more than 18 1/2 tts.
