hour and a half up the farm

hi all it been a while, to start of i will just say i left my fing phone and camera on the unit next to the door on way out was planning on taking a good few pics but somtimes thats just life eh,

 

anywho as i was working in a couple of hours the better half said you can go shooting for a couple of hours, maybe cause she spent all my money the day before baby shooping???

 

so she dropped me off at my local permission and as we pull up to the farm yard i see 2 in the feild oh yes game on, before car is stopped alice is out of her case and mag slide home so i sneak in to the barn next to the field as i plan to sneak round it to get a shot, as im about to sneak round i notice a hole in the tin side of the barn can i get a shot from there???? oh yes perfect spot, 1 down must have looked like something from an old war film just the end of my barrel sticking out froma hole in the wall ha

 

so went back to the car said bye got my gun slip and coat and thats me as i forgot my phone had to take the wifes watch to know when to be back got an hour and 45 so off i go over the first gate pick up my dead bugs and put the slip and rab in the barn for later,

 

away round the first corner by the milking sheds a few up to the right will get them from the other side, will go check the tyre pile first, there is 5 playing all kits so crosshairs on the biggest of the five and 2 down. so off round the milking shed to see if i can see any that were there on way up can see 2 of them bout 40 yards only shot i can take is a supported one with my hand in nettles arrgggggghhhhhh but made the rab pay for it 3 down and this is the funniest thing ever it was a kit again and there warren is right up the top of a stepp banking when the shot hit home i thought the rab was an olyimpic diving champ as it leapt from the top of the banking to land stone dead at the bottom. pick him up later,

 

of i go towards the first fiels this side of farm as im passing the muc tank i see one on the other side a big 1 good eating so very slowly rest the rifle on the elctric fence post (carefull carefull) 4 down will retreive later,

 

in to the first field scan the hedge line with the scope i see a kit bout 60 yards away facing the other way stalk on down on my knees kind monkey crwling 5 yards look still looking the other way another 5 yards and still the other way as im closing the gap im liking my chances get within 30 yards and as im getting my breath back ( monkey crawling anit so easy) im going through my second breathing cycle as crosshairs are on its head out of no were a crow swoops at the kit crawing and scared all the surrounding bugs away, god dam crow, they will get it next time im here with more time there days are numbered,

 

so abbandone that field and of the the corn field as the just stared to sprout bout 2 weeks back, as im walking down the path to the field out pops a kit bout 25 yards unlucky chucky 5 down, as it really hot left him in the hedge row with my jacket never new shooting could make you sweat this much as im nearing the corn field i think i will be smart and go up the outside of the firld not in it and look over the hedge and god dam it was that the wrong descion or what they were all under the hedge in the shade and all i hear is bugs thumping his leg on the ground so that didnt work eh

 

end of that feild an nowtso decide it time to answer natures call ans as im doing this 2 fields wawy i can see the resedeint roe buck big mother bucker and another reason why i wanted the cam dam it look over to my left and a cheecky bugs is watching me pee lucky i had alice handy me peeing was the last he saw the little perv 6 down

 

so getting close to me pick up time so head diagonalay back to were the crow bugged me as i scan can see a big 1 and a kit so as i only have 1 big one he on the agenda as i lie prone in the grass thanking the lord for the due on the grass cooling me down a bit the big one pops of down the hole damm it oh well kit sorry but 7 down

 

so off i go to pick up my jacket and my kills get most but leave the one by the milk shed as will get that in 2 mins as i drop of my kills in the barn and have a chat with the farmer as he likes a rab or two and he said the funniest thing about shooting all the kits he dont like it same as me but he said "the only ged yin is a dead yin" like that alot

 

so off to pick up my olyimpic dive champ and get to the bottom of the warren and oh my god dont mone as a kit has just wandered out to see what im doing so i slowly raise the rifle with 1 hand and this kit must only be about 3 yards from me and all that is going through my head is "how much holdunder do i give this" lol and bang i miss inch under his chin damm but wat the hell he moves further out what the is he shiting me oh well wont miss this time and that was his mistake 8 in the bag and back at the barn to gut the big one for the farmers tea, and for my pick up

 

so 8 dead in an hour and a half cant complain at that at all, better remember the camera next time,

 

so that was my sunday afternoon take care
