Guest arch1
River Nene tomorrow, behind Bluebell lakes. My rabbiting buddy is on there for 4 days I'll catch more in a few hours than he'll ever do on the carp lake. He's been going since Xmas for 4 days a month and has not even had a run yet. Guest arch1
Ummm, not quite what i had in mind. No flow at all, very clear, no Chub, caught Bream on a waggler with double bronze maggot???? Three Roach, 0ne Perch and some Bleak. The river is very weedy there, only a couple of fishable swims. All in all it was pretty poor. Mate hasn't caught though. Quote Link to post
"Earth!" 503
see a cracking little waterfall on the side of the road at newtonmore in the highlands today.stopped to take some snaps and see a few small brownies and a small eel ,wanted to fetch the rod from the car but there was a fella already fishing it and i was told a few days ago they dont take kindly to people fishing without permits up here,i was only going to have a few minutes . did have a go on a huge loch today which a permit isnt required, was lovely scenery until we drove off only to see a sign saying what the loch wa called yep,it was a private one, ours was further down the glen Quote Link to post
