Phantom 631
Nice going Roger and friends I so envy you guy's with all that sun and warmth The pic that interested me is the one with the plate around the eyebell of the socpe, very neat idea that, going to do one for mine in the cemetery I am often shooting into the direction of the sun and the light reflects of my glasses reducing contrast, dont know why I didn't think of it before. R0G3R 11
The pheasants look a little like guinea fowl in colour. They almost do, but they are less than half the size of the full grown G-fowl here. Roger! Quote Link to post

Phantom We took the scope cap that comes with the Nikko's on the front, took out the yellow glass. Cut an empty DVD case and used Qbond to stick the 2 together. It does work well, Roger! The weekend it was 22-26 deg C in the afternoon. The evenings were around 4-6 deg C. 2, dose it affect your PCP rifle's in anyway? *** Yes, the pressure battles to go full power. But we put the cylinder in the sun, then a 200 bar bottle gives about 210 bar... 3, what ftlbs are you using? *** Rifles used below: .177 Hatsan MOd 70 - Been tuned and lubed with custom trigger - 904fps with AA Field 8.44gr pellets .177 Gamo Hunter 440 - Tune & Lube, GasRam, VT-1 trigger - 780fps with AA Field 8.44gr pellets .177 Hatsan AT44 Single shot, synthetic stock with silencer - I havent cronied it but other guys from ZA that have claim around 1100fps with AA Field 8.44gr pellets and around 950 - 1000fps with JSB Heavies 10.2gr pellets. .22 AA S400 pushing the JSB Jumbo 15.8gr pellets at 980fps Cheers, Roger!
