anyone have any info on getting shooting permission as i tried face to face with landowners letters phone calls same answer everytime sorry got someone that does it sorry.....only way i can see is if i won lotto and offered an attractive yearly fee but i can dream i guess :o)

Follow up your 'No thanks, got someone' answers with

 

"Thank you for your time and honesty, Shoulld they ever let you down or they find they are struggling with the numbers, or you find your not happy with their service, I'm just a phone call away. Thanks again Sir/Madam" and if you have some, give them your card :yes:

As Tony said... get some cards printed, if you look online there are plenty of places doing them for free if they say no just hand them a card and say what Tony posted!

Id keep at it. How about driving about and if you notice no end of rabbits or pigeons in some farmers field approach them then and say what you have seen. If they claim to have someone already "doing it" then that person obviously is rubbish and it might prompt them to give you a try.

 

It is hard though, shooting seems more popular than ever these days, and farmers seem to be naturally distrusting people at the best of times.
