longdogbow 12
im coming upto me 45th birthday this year.but can appreciate what the kids can do with two wheels nowadays. And we thought we were cool in the 70s on our choppers watching eviel knievel (spelling).my local woods the lads are there building trails and riding.some of the jumps give me the willys.and then they go and build a take off ramp on the top of that.anyways tell him to wear a helmet if nothing else.oh and tell him whatever they take in with them. bring the rubbish out.thats one thing the local lads round here just cant grasp. There's a track in one of the local woods which must be near on 1/2 Mile round, My lad has been going round there on a old Claude Butler Mountain bike which is getting smashed to bits. I took a walk over there the other weekend for a look and nearly shit myself watching him blast down these tracks just missing trees and going over small jumps, I now make him wear my old MX helmet since I have seen how dangerouse it is.... Here's some of the bikes he likes but he must be having a laugh!! I thought a couple of hundred quid at the most and nearly passed out when I looked at the prices... Bosun11 537
My brother has done a fair bit for years, had some bad spills but the buzz always takes him back. Have a look at this kid Jasper, little bit different and the music is good too.
littletimmy 71
Something i'd like to get into. I went delamere forest the other week doing a mixture of downhill and jumps which everyone else was doing on £4k+ full suspension bikes, on a hardtail which cost me £100 quid Fell off about 5 times, buckled both wheels and bent my disc brake, but it was a laugh. If i had a 4k bike i'd be scared to ride it. Kids with rich parents ey Stick to lampin, its cheaper
