air arms do one for their under lever's it has a male thread on the end of it and screws into your barrel at the end but i wouldnt bother to be honest as the action makes more noise than the muzzle blast :victory:

But on the other hand, its only you that hears the action, bunnies 30 yards down range won't hear the action, well they probably will given the size of their lug's :icon_redface: but not much.

I have a silencer on my springer and 30 yards down range the noise is very limited

Take the silencer off though and boy do you hear a crack

You can also take steps to dampen the noise of the action transfering through the wooden stock. I did this to my springer, simply put a little felt or rubber between the action and stock. I was scepticle at first, but it works a treat

hi just been reading some old posts and came across this topic. my question is do you lads have any advice on how to make a air arms tx200 hc a bit less noisey would the above work on my gun if so how do i do it, any tips

A general service normally does the trick....

Take it apart, degrease, deburr & polish(fine grade of emery cloth) any working parts to make them smoother, new piston seal, LIGHTLY regrease the working parts using the recommended greases WITHOUT getting any in front of the piston seal as this will cause dieselling, and then do what Tony(phantom) said, felt/rubber between the action and the stock to lessen vibration and you should have yourself a quiet smooth working rifle

I had a Parker Hale silencer fitted to my TX200HC Mklll .177 carbine rifle for a while. It made very little difference to the actual muzzle report and, nowadays, I shoot perfectly fine without it. My TX200 MkIII Standard rifle is .22 and is not threaded to take a silencer nor do I see any need for one as the gun's muzzle report is pretty moderate on firing. As with previous replies, a good strip down service, lube and polish will keep your rifle running sweet and quiet enough.
