hi lads

well seems like the new permission paid off last night with wor kid for those who dont know (he's the ugly one)no i ment to say he's marksman... made up for lost time with some impressive shooting ..before we left for the new plot i made a call to the local plod just to let them know we were about shooting (earlier that day we done a reccy and spoke to some of the locals who told us they had some problems ) people with guns causing alot of damage (we call them tosser's ) anyway we arrive on the new plot around 01:30 keen to see what was about wor kid headed for the paddocks while i took the long way onto the top fields ..and my night was a complete f*** up i missed stupid shots blamed the gun blamed the sights ... so i stopped lased 30mtrs (my zero) and continued to put pellet on pellet .. it was just 1 of those nights 30mins later i gets a text from wor kid "how many you got " he says ive got 6 and im on the way back to the truck HE SAY'S :icon_eek: twat i thought :whistling: in the time he got 6 i had 0 ... which made it even more frustrating anyhow on the way back to the truck i managed to bag 1 so at least i didnt draw a blank lol

 

after a quick cuppa we headed back out were darryl managed to bag another 4 making his total for the night (4 hours) 10 i managed another 3 and 3 rooks which i couldnt get back as the dive bombed into the thickit

 

so all in all between us we managed 14 bunnies and 3 rooks oh yes and 1 mole lol (im doing a trapping job )for the farmer he was good enough to give us permission so in my book its only fair i help him out where i can ...

nice write up and shooting buddy :thumbs: so you trying to beat shannon now then you know she is going to kick ya butt lol but very good shooting gary me old pal and great picture matey i bet it took you ages to gut and skin them hey buddy and looks like the 177 is settling in with you pretty well buddy :thumbs::toast:

Aye I had a cracking night( for a change), conditions were more or less perfect too although I did miss a couple myself

Never mind Gary old pal at least you wasnt bitten by the cant hit a barn door at 10 yards fly LOL. :thumbs:

 

I suppose the ferrets will be happy with their tea tonight though.
