I wasn't..... This has always been a marginal seat, one of the first to change hands in an election should there be even the slightest murmur of discontent. Gower's still waiting for it's first ever Tory MP, been Labour for over 100 years? Looks like those on the north of the peninsular still haven't forgotten the Thatcher years. It's about time they forgot about Thatcher, and kicked out the fake working class hero known as Gordon Brown. I think one commentator summed it up nicely after Duffygate when he said that GB is a middle class scotsman who hates anyone who isn't scottish, and cannot understand the working class. Lets face it, Thatcher has been gone for nearly 20 years, and not kicking out Labour off the back of an old grudge is cutting your nose off to spite your face. If you want Labour out, then the only way is to vote for someone who is likely to harm them, which will depend on who the second place party is in your constituency. Old wounds can still run deep Matt. I reckon we can forget all about a repeal of the hunting ban now, they'll never get it passed without a full majority...

J Darcy 5,871
Well we got Cons in here. Thats a finger up to the labour slimeball who is very anti-hunting. A hung parliament is something no one wants but its going to be interesting to see what occurs today, especially so when we find out that many people couldnt vote..... Hannah4181 260
Its Conservative here too . . . but then it always will be. :notworthy: Your right Darcy the issue of people being unable to vote will certainly raise a few questions. A hung parliament is a position none of us wanted to be in.
arcticgun 4,548
its disgraceful that people were refused there right to vote, shows that they never thought as many people would turn out,the trust has truly gone in politics forever those ignored votes could have saved us from the hung parliment scenario, the pound is already suffering, ffs how can people justify voting Labour after the last 13 year what should happen now is that all ballot papers should be checked and those who have voted labour and work for a living' should have the national debt and any fiscal damage caused by a hung parliment divided up between them and then deduct it from there wages, why should I pay more tax cause somebody i don't trust and didn't vote for ruins the country, i never had any respect for Gordon Brown or his party socialism is all well and good until you have spent all the other fellas money then the problems begin labour set out to create a classless britain??? they might just achieve that aim yet, once all the nouvo riche have fooked off and the national debt increases and buisnesses start to go to the wall etc we will all be in the same boat well and truly fooked gonna end up like greece without the sunshine lmao
arcticgun 4,548
what Gordon Brown said about that lady the other day shows his true contempt for his own party and people in general, he is nothing short of a self serving scumbag, no wonder he gets on with the bankers so well, a known thief calling someone who has supported his party for years a bigot?? lmfao at very least he showed that he fails to respect his elders opinions, is that the sort of man who should be telling us how to live our lives? arcticgun 4,548
we should have took ..mr powell ,s advice ,30 odd years ago woulnt have cured all the problems ..but mybe u/k would have been such a dumping ground for the worlds imigrants!!! its a shame he's not alive to say 'I told you so' these days he would not be free to express what he said in that speech, mind his oppo's Abu Hamza etc are more or less free to say what ever they want. If people had only listend more closely to Powell, the word racist and bigot would still have only one meaning, intead of something near a billion meanings, many people who are not 'racist' would not have been forced to lean towards today's interpretation of the 'word' racist
