jenksi87 3
well, it took me ages and i know its a bodge up but heres a couple of pics of the setup i have for my ferrets. ive joined it on to my dog run as a kind of extension, with one side made of mposts and mesh so they keep in regular contact with each other. (should help with breaking my new dog to them when i get it) done it on 2 levels with a carpeted ramp and a hatch that i can shut off if i need to seperate them. ive used a recycling box for there nest box (still need another for the lower half). still need to get a few more things in there for them to play with but they love the little hammock i made them with some cup hooks and an old t-shirt. i feel sorry for my new hob though now with his small hutch all on his own, so i will put his pic up first my albino jill my sandy jill ive lined my sandy jill now so just waiting to see if she takes (see my other post) then i will be keeping a couple of jill kits for myself and the rest are going to friends and a couple of lads off here Edited April 27, 2010 by jenksi87 Quote Link to post

stubby 175
nice looking hutch, although Id add more woodchip to the floor, and loose the carpet on the ramp, they will climb a wood ramp easy, or use some of your corrigated tubing, a ferret could all too easily catch a claw on the fibres in carpet and rip a claw off, Quote Link to post
