At last....I got it out.......

Recommended Posts

Hi Guy's.

Well, at last I managed to steal a couple of hour's out with the s200.

Lorraine was happy on the couch with her foot in the air, and our little Grandson, his mum, and our Dauhter for company, and help.

Everything writen about this little power house is well justified.

What a great rifle, the trigger mech is a little ragged, and the bolt a bit stiff, but appart from that, a little gem, and Im sure it will get better with use.

I must have put about 350 ish pellet's through her this afternoon...AA Diablo Fields 8.44gr .177, the rifle love's them  .

After zeroing her in 30yds, I shot some paper to get a feel for the rifle, and got an idea of my sight marks.

The groups at the target (30yds) were spot on and very pleasing, 10 shot's in 11cm hole, repeated time after time.

Looking forward now to more practice with her, and realy getting to know her before we go for the bob tail's.

Very pleased and happy with the rifle

Hi Alex.

How did the 40/60 groupings go, were you happy?

I wont be after the bunnies with the s200 at the moment, still need to play and practice a little more with the new addition

But I dont think it will be too long before she takes a shot in anger :)

Have you had any more thought's on the HW100 ?

hi bill

yes i was very happy with the 40-60 grouping all within an inch but you have to work hard for it.... the gunpower series has not regulator to make all the shots the same-ish fps, example... after taking 50 shots the hold over at 60m was 3 mildot but after another 10 shots it was 3.5 nearly 4 and if it just charged then it is probably more like 2 at 60m..... i cant stress enough to newbies of the sport to practice and practice some more!! im learning every time i go out!!

i have yet to secure this massive permission i have been given verbal ''okay'' for, so will wait for that but i might wait to hear from the MOD permission too before laying out ..... £950 for a HW100K-T FSB :icon_eek: i know i know they are a precision instrument and you have to pay more for a daystate mk4is but thats still a big chunck of money..

well see

Hi Alex.

That's good shooting mate.

3 Mil dot holdover at 60m is brilliant for a .22, what weight pellet are you shooting?

With the HW100 im near 5 Mil Dots for 50yds, from full charge......but I am using a fairly heavy pellet at 15.9gr with avg MV of 571.40 11.53 ish ftlbs.

Have a read up on the HW100k-T FSB mate, I read some where they are having problems, cant remember what they were now, but might be worth having a look
