filters for the striker

fed up with the loud clicks when removing and puting it back on was wondering if you can buy a flip up for it or can it be alterd to lesson the noise?

dont think you can buy a flip up filter for the stricker,maybe you'll be able to alter it,im not sure.

i've had same problem aswell , its not as if you can jus cut one of the clips off as they then would be uneven.

i agree with you lads they are annoying,flawed in my book.

the only thing i like about them is the weight and the tight spot...

cheap wiring and bad filter setup.

id rather them do something simular to the lazer light regarding the filters and do away with the rotating head.

Who uses that feature and often???? ive had mine set in the spot position since day one.

and dont listen to those real deals that say a filter makes no difference, get with the times :11:

take off all three legs the lip whats left just pushes over the reflector and still holds on very securely its still alittle fiddly but alot les noise is made during putting on and off

i take two lugs off mine,i then put a scew up through it with tape on,use this to flick the filter of quickly,allo put string through it and attach it to your lamp so that you cant drop it

I run elec tape around the edge of the lamp so when placing the filter back on there no sound

grind the clip to a flat edge or melt them off , drill a tiny hole in to filter tie a piece of short string to filter and just pull filter of lamp when ready , tie to bottom of lamp an you wont lose filter either

me mate has one of them strikers and i think its a stupid idea that clip on filter good lamp i must say but i like the culite filter flips up no noise at all

iv just bent all 3 of the clips seems alot easier and quieter.
