I KNOW ASH SETTS ARE BAD FOR CAVE IN'S BUT I HAVE FOUND THEM VERY POUROUS FOR OXYGEN/AIR TO AID A TERRIER TILL YOU DIG THEM OUT,ITS THE SHITS WHEN YOU LOSE A GOOD WORKING DOG BUT I HAVE ALWAYS FELT A LOT LESS WORRIED WHEN DIGGING A DOG IN AN ASH SETT. IVE HAD SOME TOTALLY BURIED TERRIERS IN ASH SETTS & THEY CRAP ASH FOR 2 DAYS COZ THEY'VE BEEN EATING IT TO TRY'N GET THERE WAY OUT BUT MAYBE IVE JUST BEEN LUCKY? ATB LADS & REMEMBER WE ONLY EVER LOSE GOOD DOGS....

This a big dog fox i dug out of a pipe with my gould bitch direct out of sparacus in 1996/97
