Rake aboot 4,929
Brother in law worked a beardy half cross from Hancock. No idea if it was from working stock and his place was a bit of a mess but it put meat on the table for years that mutt!! superb dog that trained well and worked hard all its days. Its what you put in the dog that makes the difference (presuming it has no obvious faults) If you get it I hope you enjoy it Quote Link to post
saxonmaster 74
thinking of getting a meyrl collie greyhound. any opinions on them? as ive neva had 1 before? any good? hi mate im looking at them this week to and its my first was going today but now going in the week or weekend because ive just found out my mate has one from hancock and he is well happy with him so going to look at him later today. but also i was told by someone that he was breeding from working stock but now he doesnt because he dont have the time to hunt so just uses them to breed but im not sure if that makes a differance or not but like i said above it will be my first so im only going on what im being told from other experienced owners. what my mate did say though was that he had an excellent service from hancocks they gave him loads of advise on training and will give help over the phone and if he wasnt happy with his dog he could bring it back and at least you know the history of the dogs. but i dont think your find a breeder that has a 100% positive feed back all u can do is what your doing now is by getting has much information as poss. ATB mate keep us updated Quote Link to post
