sent the old woman to the butchers and she came home with tongue wind pipe lungs and heart all in one piece from a lamb i think ,is it ok to mince it up and feed it raw as i normally get chicken carcuses but this was all he had left

No problem ,though there is not much nourishment in the lungs,some dogs like offal cooked,if yours will eat it raw ,so much the better.

How have you been ? Dogs doing ok? The rain has done us a favour.

all well here,had a good winter once the mixy cleard up new pup coming on well and the outher dog proving himself time and again,as for the rain we have only just been able to get back out on the farm to do some shredding .

just a warning, i personally wouldnt feed the wind pipe of any animal. When feeding the wind pipe of a larger animal such as horse or cattle the rings of cartilage have been known to get stuck over the tongue wich in turn has swelled and suffocated the dog. personally i just rather be safe than sorry.

Think it was my grandad told me that all they used to feed there dogs was lights (lungs). My bitch eats it all raw but i put some down for a mates and it turned its nose up till i cooked some and it loved it?????????? Atb Wallis
