If its pizzing down, as it has been today, I could be holed up in an old barn. If nothing else I can get some practice in. Hope to post somthing tomorrow, even if its only pictures of puddles Bill. I can feel it in me bones mate .... what gets me is somtimes I get out and hit near on where I point the gun, days like today everytime I mount the gun I can see my bloody heart beat movment in the scope! I'm such a old git these days that by the time I have walked through the woods I can hardly hold the gun straight, I have to wait about 10 mins to compose myself to take the shot .... I'm going to do some survalance and knock a hide up in future! take a few , and some and sit and wait!! mind you I'll probably fall asleep next............ Jasp Quote Link to post

Sweeney-Todd 208 Posted February 26, 2010 Author Report Share Posted February 26, 2010 Hiya all. Well.....I looked outside this morning, and it didnt look too bad at all. The sun was trying to break through, and there was a bit of breeze blowing. I have been using JSB Exacts in the rifle, but wanted to try out with Accupells. What a difference they have made.....cant hit sod all now .....just kidding. They fly faster, group tighter, and the rifle loves them, glad I tried them. After re zeroing the rifle in the grain store, I made my way up to the woods,stalking the hedge rows as I went. By the time I got into the woods, the wind was howling through. I was watching birds in the sky go all over the shop, buffeted by the force of the wind. I had a stalk around the woods anyway, but did not see a solitary thing!! Escaped the rain, and inherrited the wind instead. Still enjoyed the day though......better luck next time ATB. Bill. Quote Link to post
