Well done Farmer

The proofs in the pudding as they say, but in your case the bag of woodies ;)

Just goes to show that a little practice and a little help from friends goes a long way to achieving a aim.

Keep up the good posts pal, and nice shooting.

Your quiet welcome Farmer

That’s what the regs on here are for mate.

To help others out, while learning something their self in the process.

I learn something every day on here from other shooters and regulars.

My advice pal is listen, analyse and try it out for yourself.

If it works and it’s a good idea use it in your shooting arsenal, if it didn’t work for you forget about it pal and ask someone else.

What calibre is your rifle Farmer?

If its a .177 then you will pick it up very quickly as there isnt that much hold over or under to worry about pal.

I watched Gary calibrate his mil dots in my indoor range 2 nights ago and from a 30 metre (32.8 yard) zero he could hit a drawing pin at 20 metres with 1 mil dot hold under and a 40 metre drawing pin with 1 mil dot hold over.

Taking that a stage further to kill zone size and not a small drawing pin, he could probably shoot a rabbit on the cross hairs from 20 metres out to 40 metres and get a kill.

He doesnt though and uses precise shots at each range.

Quite a handy calibre the .177
