talking to one of the lads in work the other day about his new LI-ON battery, he paid £150 for it and he reckons it can do 4 hours non stop lamping, weather thats true or not i dont know but a major plus side would be how small and light they are to carry.

GOT THE 12v 10amp,SPOT ON.IF YOU GO ON THE DEBEN SITE THEY DO VARIOUS SIZES.FITS IN MY COAT POCKET,WEIGHS LESS THAN A BAG OF SUGAR.GOT MINE FROM OPTICS WAREHOUSE.EXPENSIVE YES(for now)BUT ITS THE WAY FORWARD. ATB TREVOR

Have one, best money i've spent all year. Very small and the black pouch it comes in can be attached to your belt. I would say it would do 4 hours not a problem. Beam never fades throughout the session and when the battery is empty it will just cut out. Can be a good and bad thing. Was 5 miles from the van one night and it cut out, had no light to see on the way back to the van.

deben are bringin sum new 1s out in march they are doin 12v 10 amp at min but there gona do a 12v 14 amp think it about £170 and a 12v 22 amp at about £240 yes £240 iv got the 10 amp and i can get a gud 4 hrs lampin with me blitz
