andy s410c 63 Posted January 17, 2010 Report Share Posted January 17, 2010 Well managed to get out after the big freeze,lazy Xmas routine & now being in FULL TIME work it's all been a whirlwind but back to living for the weekend .I landed at the bottom quarry for 9am & met up with the local moley/moocher & his terrier with the selective hearing .The snow had thawed nicely with the odd patch of ice on the way over to the sets next to the feeders.The grafters today were Amber & Potch which were keen as out to get into the action . The terrier was doing her thing & marking up,the rabbits were mainly in small sets & were'nt in the best of condition when they fell into the purse nets.We ended the day with 9 tired looking rabbits just after 2pm. I had a look into the top quarry & the North wall was snow free so that will be on the menu for next week end,weather permitting.Still nice to be out with a helping nose & pair of hands made light work today which was more than welcome .
