festa 206 Posted January 17, 2010 Report Share Posted January 17, 2010 hi lads how goes it hope you are all well after my little mooch yesterday (previous post) look for johnny i got a phone call last night 23:45 lol wor kid had an itch and we all know the best thing for an itch is a mooch . so 01:30 off we go 1 hour drive up to our permission across the a69 into cumbria country pulled the van into the back of the farm scanned the 1st field and nothing which is very unusual wor kid went around the bottom and came up to the far side i went the other way and we met at the top i spotted 2 little red jewels and as soon as they spotted the light bang they were gone hmm me thinks summit else thats strange this place has never been lamp shy ...a si make my way up towards the railway bank up pops the 1st kill 35mtrs 1 mil dot to the right to compensate to the slight wind and drops like sack of tattys pellet landed just behind the ear... after that the night panned out pretty much the same most rabbits on the 670 acres seemed very lamp shy as i moved onto another field my 2nd kill popped his little head up (and thats all i could see ) its head the rest of its body was still in its hole about it was only 20mtrs so 1mil dot hold under with the pro sport (which is still for sale) and the jsb came knocking on his door ... wor kid managed to bag another one making our total 3 for the 4 hours mooch until next time atb gary Quote Link to post
