othickman 6 Posted January 9, 2010 Report Share Posted January 9, 2010 Talking about fieldfares, saw my first one yesterday, But the most distinctive part of the fieldfare that you could've seen from that angle was the orange/red neck, which should've been hard to miss from that distance.. littlefish 598 Posted January 10, 2010 Report Share Posted January 10, 2010 Just saw these for the first time today in my garden, I live in the centre of a town. When one caught my eye at first I thought it was a sparrowhawk that some times visits but then it started eating berries in the shrubs. Then I noticed there was quite a few of them, they were quite bold. I tried to take some photos but they were all shaky. Always nice to see something different. I also saw a new very green-yellow coloured bird today, about the size of a sparrow with a longish tail. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
