(I'll just make the point again that we don't stand around taking photos of dogs on pigs. The photos are the best of hundreds that are shot on the run in to grab the pig. To stand around risks injury

I started when I was a teenager with a little crossbred dog running bunnies into logs or burows and then digging them out. It's mostly about the dogs for me but I really do enjoy the capital R reality of dealing with boar pigs. It's not a game of tennis but it's not just rip tear bust either. The longer you are in it the less you want to use to get the maximum result. I've gone from great big dogs to much smaller dogs that can last all day. Guts in the dogs is a must but I like a lot more brains in thm than I cared about once...

This is some raw footage we shot of a Wedge Tail Eagle eaglet in the nest on one of my hunting blocks.

Just a random change of direction but I hope you enjoy it. It is 10 minutes of not very much but I am excited about it anyway. I hope to get enough footage for a little web wildlife show for fun.

Cheers.

This what the eagle's nest looks like. Hard to tell from this but it is just short of two metres across. Wedge Tails are big birds. They are a type of golden eagle and have the biggest wingspan of any eagle in the world.
