foxing lurcher for terrier work

some lurcher guys i speak to say that collie greyhounds arent up to the job am not to clued up much on lurchers but a hill farmer i no has four collies and if any one of them come across a fox theyll guzzle it in no time single handed does the hill collie differ from a lowland collie

There is a 1st cross Wheaten x grey on Epupz now 8 months old bitch.That will do the job no problem and it looks the part too.Good luck finding a dog!

cheers lads for the comments only problem being the size of the finished article basically its for bolting fox needs to be around 22 to 23 tts as for them farm bred collies im not surprised there a different kettle of fish been bred harder none of this show shite you see in most collie lurchers now adays

I would say a bull x or a wheaten x of sum sorts.

As these types don't seem to mind getting bitten as much as other crosses! :boxing:

seen a whippet few weeks ago luguna bred did a good job shame fox jinked at last min that mike brown meant to bred e decent one but cant get hold got half x bull at moment and my new pup batters it proper makes it squeal hope it doesnt do that [bANNED TEXT] it meets charlie its only 11 months at moment
