Guest Mass_G3nocide
Went out to work today on one of my family's Farms I have been Cladding one of the old barn's for about 2 weeks now it is massive...I fancied a change so i went to a different end of the barn and started ripping off the old fascia board and de-nailing the uprights,All of a sudden i see some honeycomb i thought it was a old hive and they probably had died of cold,How wrong was i... Suddely hundreds off bee's came flying out and darting at me i shit myself and ran luckily enough we had an old bee suit so i put it on and started taking away some of the honey there must have been about 5 kilo of it and the kitchen table is stuffed with pots and plates of nice sweet wild honey i had some nice crumpets with honey on it.It's proper nice here's some more pics of another one i found all in all i found 3 different hives. And have stocked up with shit loads of honey. Nik_B 3,791
Do you just leave it to drain or is there some kind of process you need to perform?
Kay 3,709
God it looks lovely , 5 kilo's of honey, keep your going for a bit
Guest Mass_G3nocide
I heard of a process where you spin the plates off honeycomb in a box type thing but that only applies to taking it from a bee hive so im just going to let it drip into jars or put it in a sivve... stubby 175
try hanging the honey in a cloth bag, in a warm place, it'll get the honey dripping quicker not trying to teach anyone to suck eggs

John Keswick 119
I hate to ask, but what happened to the bees after you STOLE thier honey?
Guest Mass_G3nocide
Most of them were dead as the cold the remaining ones either died or buggerd off....I rang the British bee keepers association and some bee removal firms and they were not interested so i done the work myself.
