Deker 3,478
I have lost 3 days shooting this week and looks like another today, filthy weather! Yes..call me a tart if you like, but when it's p*****g down, blowing a gale and cold I tend to find much of the quarry stays tucked up as well. Always another day though, and nothing to complain about really compared to all the poor souls that have been flooded out!
SNAP SHOT 194
blowing a gale here mate, about 50 to 60 mph gusts at the minute, rain not taking time to fall...... one day off work and it's another day sitting in looking out... Snap.

SportingShooter 0
At the moment, there are gusts of around 60 - 70 MPH forcasted and I believe they can't be far off that now, its blowing an absolute gale here. The rain is holding off at the moment, but it has been heavy showers most of the day, coupled with this wind. I haven't been out Shooting or even walking for a day or two, pointless being out in this weather, everything else has the sense to stay where it is. But as has been said, it could all be a lot worse, poor chap up in Cumbria and the rest of the people up there with their homes churned up, must be hard to keep thinking in any way positive. I find I have great times in bad weather, plus it makes me feel like iv conqured something after the day. I was hunting today on some high hill ground ive got, and although it was cold and wet and windy, with sleet and hail aswell, we had an excellent day, with great results!
