Getting A Job Advice

Recommended Posts

Just thought I'd put a little post up regarding getting a job. I'm 16 and want a job and i tried all the job agencies with no luck. So i wrote a letter explaining to possible employers that i want a job and my circumstances. I also wrote up a CV and printed of loads of both letters and CVs, put them into envelopes with a sticker on addressed to Personnel Mangager and posted a load to local businesses and what do you konw, I,ve got an interview on Monday :toast: . It's worked for me so there's no reason why it shouldn't work for you.

Nice one and good luck with your interview, I did the same printed out a load on CVs and letters, sent them to each Garage in my town looking for an apprenticeship. I wasn't lucky enough to get one, but I was able to get 2 days of unpaid work experience a week with 3 different Garages. Been doing it for 6 months now and things seem hopeful for next years enrolment (even if its 10 months away).
