Snap. i've gotthe tammy 55-200, its pritty good for the dosh, and a sigma 70-300.. the sigma's better, but only just.(a bit lighter..). with the cheaper end stuff you have to find the light they like, then sudenly ooooo that nice. ghillies 209 Posted November 16, 2009 Report Share Posted November 16, 2009 hand held snap shot...so aproxamatly the same angle. canon 50mm lens with a flash, @ f/8 and 1/60'th of a second no prosesing just a straight resise. Tamron 55-200 (60mm) with the same flash, @ f/8 for 1/60'th of a second, same as above just resised.(taken further back..no macro as it isnt a true macro) Sigma 70-300mm apo (100mm)with the same flash, @ f/8 for 1/80'th and taken a little further back than the Tamron.(no macro used) its lighter because more flash light arived with it being further away presumably..
