collie/grey 238
Bigboy has let me know that he can run our heat next wednesday, i have had to take my bitch to the greyhound vet today as she hurt her toe tuesday night, she has broke her toe and it is being amputated on monday or else i would have a bill of £800 - £900 to get a pin put in it, anyway she will not be able to run for about 6 weeks after so she is out of the comp and i will have to run my semi retired bitch instead, i just hope she runs ok.............. collie/grey 238
Just a quick update on my bitch, she went back to the vet this morning to have it amputated but thankfully it didn't happen, another x ray was taken and the bones have already started to colloust together, she has to go back in a months time to see how it is progressing, if it is healing well then the toe stays and will be stronger than before or else the toe comes off if it isn't healing well, heres hoping the healing goes well and the toe stays, for now it's rest, road walking, antibiotics for 10 days and anti inflammatorys for a month!! Heres a pic of the toe last friday And today with the x - ray pic Quote Link to post
