I have just started working a JRT pup i bought from this site. The problem is that when i get him home he goes beserk with what i believe are nettle stings to his paws. Any anvice on what i can put on his paws either before or after walking to lessen his discomfort

His feet will toughen up as he gets older: try and keep him away from the stingers while he's little, though it won't do him any harm unless he chews his paws raw. My dogs usually become immune to nettles by the time they're about 5 months old.

Why not run him a nice warm bath with scented candles and relaxing music in the background.

Followed by a foot massage using essential oils.

Either that or leave him in the back garden for an hour and let him in after hes stopped fannying around.

Pontypool, it's a dog mate, it doesnt need pampering like a new born child. It'll get used to the nettles.
