I was dressed in my new Hunting suit, and feeling very manly. My wife had somthing long and hard in her hand's......she was rubbing it up and dowm with her gloves on............yep youv'e guessed it...........she was polishing my trusty HW98. Looking at this setting stirred somthing deep inside me. My hunting instincs over took me. Like a preying mantis......I crept on top of the wardreode...... :tongue4: It was from there it all went tit's up realy.....the wardrobe collapsed......I fell on my wife breaking her shoulder......and while trying to lift the wreckage......put my back out. Did you camo your HW100 yourself, been thinking of doing my HW100 Richie it was done by a guy called paul hamblett, he did an article earlier in the year in airgun world me tinks! i got in contact with him and he did it for £150.00 so was pleased with that. regards davy great write up mate that hw100 looks the dogs how would you compare it to the AAS410? atb zak hi zak how would i compare it? well there both .177 and in my experiance,it wouldnt matter if i had a HW77 springer in my hand.its all about shot placement,the only ting i would say is the HW100 is a tad heavier than AAS410K and its a side lever, a bit smoother to cock. but then its a joy to use the AAS410K after i have been using HW100 as it's lighter. to be fair i get asked this all the time,and you cant compare apart from the obivous,and i tink im being honest! both rifle group the same,but the HW100 is heavier. but thats what a sling is for? hope this helps! regards davy Quote Link to post

I'm looking forward to getting the new gun and clearing some of the f*****g squirrels up in wood at the back of my aviaries! they're playing havoc running across the tops with the Goshawks smashing themselves up trying to catch them. there was one right at the top of a old Beech tree the other day but would not stand still for a decent shot, Unfortunately he made it to the ivy and wasn't seen again..... they've got in coming though pal big time as well as the pigeons January/February time when they come in to Roost.... atb Jasp Quote Link to post
