Head injuries are not always easy fixed. No, i'm not a health & safety freak but iv'e had many a crash off a horse to know the damage it can do, yes, even from a horse that is standing still but becomes spooked for many a reason. Sorry to go on about it, but no matter how perfect the pony accidents can happen - my first pony was a little fat Thelwell, but he was shot by some a**hole with an airgun when I was riding and he moved so fast I didn't even realise what had happened til I woke up with a concussion and a mark on my skull - and that was with a hat on!
