It should be gone by the end of the week mate i dont like going out lamping when the moons high in the sky, lastnite by me werent a bad night because it was over cast abit wet and windy there the nights you want, ive been out on moon lite nights and had the best night ever if you are gona lamp on full moons stick down wind and to the edge of your field you might have a better result then if not just gate way lamp  dont spoil good nights with crap nights

its not cos the moon is full the dogs are hunting up . they should have istant recall no mater what the moon is doing. , put some time in on the training side of things, nowt worse than a deaf dog. sort the recall out ;)

dont lamp the moon much more a walk .dont like educating the beast s etc to much ,hit them hard on the [bANNED TEXT] nites , if i am desperate for a catch ill leash the dogs up and roadside as there no wind usaly with clear skies so , sometimes best to quick check ,if there eyes ,dog out drive in bush its all over quick , i used to lamp moons for phesis and good for fish but found my best nites when moon has gone or on the way back or if there a cloud to cover moon , diffrent ground and qaurry predicts the way you hunt

deerhound ive caught lots of game over the years with good traditional colli types with out lamp and colii x saluk type a god dog can wind its game and catch it without lamps in some areas were i hunt but you have to no the land and were they are feeding out , and have dogs who can work without the lite or lamp i carry a small lamp to spot eyes ,but dogs no whats on and soon get on its not for big bags but for a walk out and no lamp means no fecher can see you so you can go were you want

ive been haveing lamping lessons off a mate and training my 15week old dog since friday weve had four out of five nites that were good my pup is good on recall but he went abit awall for two nights so the best way to bring him in was to work him hard and it paid off last nite was realy wet and the rabbits out in forse he had about 20 corses and was wacked but he learnt to come back in instead of workin out in the field all the while

15 weekds is abit young to lamp rabbits my pups are out young but only walking while the big dogs are watching for a runor eyes the only time he is part of the oplan is when ones topples and he gets asmell and a little chew lol but no serous chaseing for a good while , pups need education rather than chaseing when young
