thats a strange cross first time iv heard of that one, looks a nice dog tho and a nice kennel youve made him ;)

well the guy had a springer bitch as a gundog and a collie for hunting the cattle and nature tooks it course but he is an intelligent dog and is sitting and shittting on command (at a few metres) already and is bold as brass, sometimes get a bit too bold, but pups will be pups. his worm tablett is starting to take affect but the poor chap had them worse than i thought and still got screaming ab dabs keeping a close eye on him though and he is still happy and not losing noticable weight.

hopefull he will be ok in a few days but if not hes going to the vetsjust to make sure.

As a kid my father came home one day with a jack russel bitch pup which we called jack.He had been conned -it was a collie x springer which became brilliant at hunting. I was gutted to find one day that he had given it to my uncle who went shooting(my father did not shoot). The up side was that my uncle used to take me out as I had bonded with Jack.

Control was a problem and he used to drop her out of the van 3 miles from our shooting and she would run behind the van with me calling from the open back doors. This was to tire her before a days hunting ! My uncle kept her for life as she was so good. Brains nose and trashing. A good cross.

a good looking dog mate. like the kennel too :clapper::clapper:

the best of luck with the pup.

what wormer did you use? i used drontal every two weeks from eight to twelve weeks and at 13 just for good measure( he was wormed at 8 weeks with sheep wormer which i would not reccomend, very dangerous apparently).

thanks for all the kind comments guys. he sure is full of energy but very good, once he is biger i am thinking of getting him a weight pack to make him work harder when we walk as well as me taking up running a lot more.
