jenksi87 3
well went out the other night, set off at 10pm and got home at 3.30am. we saw 4 rabbits and a fox all night. there was only one rabbit within shooting range and i missed it! unless the conditions had something to do with it? no wind at all, no moon. we must have walked a good 6mile over the course of the night. any way were off out tonight, 4 of us, 2lamps, 2 guns and a young dog that my mates bringing on so hopefully we should bag a couple, and try the young bitch on a few sitters. she's taken a rook and a partridge that she herded over the last two week so hopefully she will hone her new found interest in catching things on a few coneys any way, try and get some pics up in the morning when we get back, hopefully with a dozen or so as my patience is wearing thin with fruitless trips jenks Quote Link to post

jackinbox99 41
Think weather had something to do with it. I was out Wed night and there was no wind or nothing, you could hear a pin drop. Needless to say not many bunnys were out and it was nearly impossible to get within range of them without them scarpering! I find a slightly windy night is better. Quote Link to post

I re-zeroed at 30 paces and put pellet up the ar$e of the other pellet using AA Fields again, come to the conclusion that those fx pellets don't perform as well in my s200 as they do in the springer. My shooting buddy came and brought me another tin of AAF's. Tell ya that RiffRaff guy, he sets foot on my permission and the place is like a graveyard oh sorry it is a graveyard . Just fecking devoid of furry fecking animals when he's about . I'm off out early to try again Still 2 bunnies soaking in the pot overnight with a fist full of salt Curry bunny for me tomorrow Phantom Quote Link to post
