Dosser 52
Anyone know how to get rid. ? I have tried a branded course of ear drops, olive oil, benzyl benzoate, but my dogs still constantly shake their heads and scratch at their ears. Any advice ? Thanks in advance. Guest foxyjo.
I use Stronghold on my GSD who suffers with his ears. That's supposed to do ear mites as well, although I use canural too.

allenyeates 3
Had same problem. Took dog to vets and was told they were harvest mites ( what ever they are!!) was given Surolan ear drops. Seem to be doing the trick but the drops alone cost me £12. Not shaking his head much now though. Vet said these mites will disapear after first frost. Good luck.
J Darcy 5,871
Canaural....... I would not be worried about the cost, the dogs welfare has to come first. Go with your dog to the vets and try to haggle a couple of extra bottles of Canaural out of them at cost. Worth asking....
cúagusgiorraí 57
Its worth checking to see if there are mice in the area as well. They could be transfering them into the dogs kennell.
