It's about time show organisers realised that high prices are keeping people (what would a show be without them?) away. I was at Frome Cheese show all day yesterday; it was £12 to get in, and I (foolishly) paid £4.50 for a bacon and egg roll that was crap. Even Arlesford show that I went to last week was £12 to get into, and the only real attraction was Chalkwarrens puppy and the chance to see Mr Trapworks drink Pimms..........
