FOXHUNTER 5,022
Me and Ratcherman had a look out on my ground yesterday . It started very well , as we pulled into the farm I noticed a fox on the road into the farm. I drove right up to it and it just stood and looked at us so I told Ratch to get the .22 out , unbelievably this fox just watched the whole time as he loaded the gun , I wound the window down and Ratch shot it in the head. I have never seen a more stupid fox in all my time of foxing We parked at the farm and went for a wander with the .243. I spied a fox trotting up a bank so I quickly dropped to the floor . The fox was 250 yards away so I positioned my crosshairs above its back and was very satisfied when I saw the fox go over Then it was time for a spot of lamping but unfortunately the wind dropped and it was very bright . You could literally see small woods over 1 mile away it was that bright. Where do all the foxes go on a bright night like this ??????? I called in quite a few likely areas but to no avail Our luck changed in the very last field , there was 2 foxes and Ratch managed to drop one of them. So we ended up with 3 charlies which I was happy with Quote Link to post
