not all reporters are anti ;) pre-ban the Old Yorks were approached by the bbc as to wether they could film and report on a meeting, it was agreed as there was nothing to hide, the day went smoothly they interviewedand asked lots of questions to people in the crowd, and were generally surprised with what they saw and found out what really happens for themselves. The upshot was they came back the next day without cameras or recording equipment as they wanted to see the outcome, they turned up at several more meetings that season joined as members and eventually took shares in their own dog to run.

So not all are anti a lot are blinkered as are many of the public through reading misleading accounts of what REALLY happens

I wouldn't use the Mirror to wipe my arse on. More so after the disgraceful way they printed those (obviously) fake pictures of our Squaddies supposedly pissing on prisoners as if they were gospel. The way they treated stories about our lads when the Iraq war II first kicked off was amount to treason IMO, I'll never buy that paper again as long as I live.

The Daily Mirror like many tabloids does seem to have a problem when it comes to staying with the factually accurate.

come to think of it, its not just the tabloids, or even the papers, the BBC shows a huge bias these days which is rather sad when you think that it is funded by all of us.

Cant stand tabloids for all those reasons, in that article it said that she escaped with no conviction...the next line had a quote "This is a clear message to all those who course will be punished and no-one is above the law".........thats not how i read that, i read it to show the law is unworkable and pointless.

I like the "real paper" the other day The Guardian had several articles on how important grouse shooting is to the countryside....it was a pleasant change from the norm of "all hunters are savages" type articles in the mirror and other comic books.

I think views are changing among the more rational urban public, i think it is due to the realisation that them who forced the ban are socially inept and basically just people haters who strive to find a cause to make them feel marally superior to the rest of us.

I would say the great unwashed will make less noise if the ban is overturned than people realise due to them now jumping on the climate change band wagon and glueing themselves to the RBS windows.

What a bunch of prats.
