v-max 2
Send it back to be re-purged with nitrogen is your only option really & if its a swarovski etc they will do it free for you or they normally do. Quote Link to post
Guest buster321c
Had this happen once , i just left it in the airing cupboard for a couple of days . Unless its majorly wet inside , i would`nt worry too much , you may get a bit of damp on it but it should be ok . Quote Link to post
Deker 3,491
Get as many bags of silica gel as you can find..the little bags you often find packed with electrical/mechanical equipment. Put them and your scope in another plastic bag a seal it up..(after drying the scope as best you can of course) leave for a day or two at room temperature and the scope shoud be clear and dry internally! ATB! If by any chance it is a quality/expensive scope..send it back and complain!!! Quote Link to post
jamie g 17
surely if the scope has got damp in it ? then your have to have it regased ? as it will just get in again Quote Link to post

waidmann 105
if the scope mists up then the seal has gone( if filled with gas it has escaped) and the scope is effectivley useless) when in temperature differences the scope will do the same( mist up) and of course in the rain. any decent make will swap it straight away( if not been tamperd with of course) as mentioned in a previous post. zeiss, swarowski, docter, etc etc good luck getting it swapped mate. p.s. what make is it if i may ask?
