I kid you not it looks calm and serene now but the sh1t hit the fan at the top when a mini storm decided to come in if you've been then you'll know the wall pens at the top that provide some shelter, well they did for about an hour then I made leggs down in a window. Funny thing was the weather report was all clear for the day, lucky that when in the mountains I'm always prepared. Anyone without a clue and it would of been a mountain rescue job it was that bad. ATB Kie Same happened to my dad and brother, weather report for the area was fine and a snow storm blew in at the top of Helvellyn lucky they were also prepared.
