A bit of Foxing

Just a couple of pics of last 2 nights out foxing ...............

 

No write up as you know the score , lamp and shoot !!!

 

Nothing of interest except this cub had a mole , I had always read that foxes dont eat moles .

 

This is the 2nd time I have shot foxes with moles in their mouths but strangely enough they have been in tact and not eaten in any way so I suppose it could be true .

 

Anyone shot foxes with moles ?????

Foxes dont eat moles they collect them for teaching cubs how to hunt there pelt is as tough as old leather... try skinning one you will see plus they stink like hell, this is why the vixen chooses the mole its very hard for fox cubs to rip it apart.
