I have used a bag of layers pellets in 4 days and i have only got 7 chickens . Cant keep watch much through the day as i have to work . A man told me to use a hawk decoy but the starlings are sitting on the pole that the hawk is fixed too £30.00 down the drain . would stringing up a few dead ones be off any use like a gamekeepers giblit line Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Although rats will still get to food at night unless you remember to cover spring, I use an old tin and tie it on at night.
